CREATIVITY IS THE ULTIMATE FORM OF DIVINITY
A pandal made up of broken glasses and Durga idol made up of terracotta! The chequered ceiling, the water threads, the mood lighting and the Majestic posture of Devi sitting amidst the ambience created by the artists. The green halo ring behind Devi's head & the circular green hanging chandelier in front of her is made up of empty bottles. This year, I watched the brilliance & genius of Kolkata most of the time through live telecast of videos by drone. Once again, and again and again, my jaw fell! Recycle art has been the core ethos this year! Most of the creations are from wastes!
The ethereal ambience my city offers during this time of the year has no parallel my mind can think of! This is surreal! I bow my head to the minds who could conceptualize these and execute to perfection! This is pure inspiration!
It took 4 years for them to make it. It is ok if you have to wait in the Que for 3 hours to witness such creation।
