Epidemiologists hypothesise that during the winter season in China, there will be at least three waves of the COVID-19 virus for a period of approximately three months.
It was observed that the Chinese government was "under-prepared" after the country made the sudden decision to end its zero-COVID policy. In the meantime, China is rapidly running out of beds as a result of the high number of patients who have become infected.
