It will cost Rs 800 for one dose of the intranasal COVID vaccine developed by Bharat Biotech called iNCOVACC. This price does not include the Goods and Services Tax (GST) or the administrative fees charged by the hospital. If you include all of the applicable taxes and fees, a single dose could cost up to Rs 1,000.
Bharat Biotech is making use of technology that was originally developed at Washington University in the United States and licenced to them. By the end of the month of January, it would be made available in private clinics.
