Job Scam At New Delhi Railway Station Investigation Sought

Unaware that they were being taken advantage of, at least 28 people looking for work in Tamil Nadu were hired at various platforms within the New Delhi Railway Station to count the arrivals and departures of trains as well as the coaches on those trains for a period of one month lasting eight hours per day.

The victims were told that this was part of their training for positions of ticket examiner (TTE), traffic assistant, and clerk, according to a complaint filed with the Economic Offences Wing of the Delhi Police.
