An excise department raid in Bihar’s Patna district revealed the existence of a liquor party in the excise custody where 7 people were arrested. The raid was conducted by the excise department officials and police on Thursday night.
The people who were arrested included two excise officers, four policemen and a contractor. They had been caught red-handed with liquor bottles.
police said. "We suspect that the liquor was supplied by the staff of the excise police station or some private player associated with the arrested accused. Two home guards have already been arrested," Patna SSP Manavjit Singh Dhillon said.
We received info about it. We went to verify it & found them drinking alcohol. All are prisoners. How they got alcohol & other things are part of probe: SDPO, Paliganj .
