It has been reported that a minister in the BJP-led Madhya Pradesh government has courted a controversy by reportedly asking Congress leaders in the state to join the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) or face the threat of demolition by the Chief Minister's bulldozer. The minister was reportedly speaking at a public meeting in Ruthiyai town. Furthermore, Guna district Congress chief Harishankar Vijaywargiya has criticized the minister’s remarks, saying they have sullied the image of the BJP.
