In Odisha, the CBI was able to seize cash and gold that were worth crores from a retired railway officer.
The Central Bureau of Investigation found that former railway officer Pramod Kumar Jene had fraudulently obtained assets to the value of Rs 12 crore.
These assets consist of cash totaling Rs. 1.6 crore and 17 kg of gold. It was alleged that he owned a substantial quantity of assets that were disproportionate to the sources of income that he was aware of.
