Centre blocking content of BBC Documentary On Gujrat Riot ?

government sources have confirmed that the Centre has directed social media platforms Twitter and YouTube to block links of the BBC documentary that is allegedly critical of PM Narendra Modi’s tenure as Chief Minister during the 2002 riots in Gujarat.

The Information and Broadcasting Ministry has asked the two social media platforms not to allow the documentary titled "India: The Modi Question" to be shared or viewed. Twitter has complied with the directions to remove over 50 tweets on the documentary and many tweets and YouTube videos of the documentary no longer appear on the microblogging and video-sharing websites.
