The Vida V1 electric scooter, Hero MotoCorp's first product in the electric vehicle market, has begun shipping to customers in India. Dr. Pawan Munjal, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Hero MotoCorp, was on hand to personally hand over the e-scooter when the very first unit of the Vida V1 was brought out of the Bengaluru experience center.
The V1 is Hero MotoCorp's first-ever electric scooter and was released under the Vida sub-brand. The V1 is available in two different versions: Plus and Pro. The V1 Plus has a range of 143 kilometers, and the V1 Pro has a range of 165 kilometers, priced at 1.45 and 1.59 lakh rupees, respectively. The core components and most of the functionality of the versions are the same, with the exception of the detachable battery pack. Deliveries of the Vida V1 have already begun in Bengaluru, and the experience centers in Delhi and Jaipur will soon follow suit.
