Royal cuisine and beautification of Chandigarh ahead of G20

Chandigarh is set to spend over ₹4 crore on arrangements for the upcoming G20 Summit. This includes arrangements for five-star lodging of the delegates in various hotels such as Hotel Lalit, Hotel Hyatt at Industrial Area and Hotel JW Marriot in Sector 35.

Additionally, 72 SUVs and cars have been hired to provide comfortable commute for the delegates during their stay. The UT engineering department and municipal corporation have also spent around ₹30 lakh for the beautification of the notable locations that the delegates will be visiting.
