A recent incident involving stone throwing at the Howrah-New Jalpaiguri Vande Bharat Express train resulted in the arrest of three juvenile boys on Thursday in the Kishanganj district of Bihar. These youngsters were apprehended in connection with the incident. The Kishanganj police have issued a statement stating that a case was lodged on Thursday in connection with the event that took place two days ago. The statement was made in response to a question on the status of the case. The electric railway that travels between Howrah and New Jalpaiguri, both of which are located in the state of West Bengal, travels through Bihar and makes a brief stop at Barsoi, which is located in the Katihar district and is adjacent to Kishanganj. After receiving information from railway officials that a coach of the Vande Bharat Express had been vandalised by stone pelters on January 3, the police said that they subsequently launched a case under the Railway Act to investigate the incident. They also mentioned that a video recording of the incident was analysed."Four youngsters, all aged 14, living in Nimal village, which falls under the jurisdiction of the Potiya police station, have been located. Three of them were taken into custody and brought before the board that oversees juvenile justice. The police have stated that a search is currently being conducted for the fourth young person.
