Ashoknagar, July 12: The CPI(M) Ashoknagar Area Committee today called a protest march and No. 8 Kalibari in protest against Trinamool's despicable terror at the polling station in Ashoknagar yesterday. The march was organized to condemn the violence and intimidation that was used by Trinamool supporters to prevent people from voting.
The march started from the CPI(M) party office and ended at the intersection of No. 8 Kalibari. Along the way, the protesters shouted slogans against Trinamool and demanded that the Election Commission take action against the perpetrators of the violence.
