Trinamool Faces Massive Resistance as it Enters Boelgachi Panchayat of Ashoknagar Assembly to Loot Votes
A massive resistance was faced by the Trinamool Congress (TMC) as it entered the Boelgachi panchayat of Ashoknagar Assembly constituency in West Bengal on Saturday. The struggling crowd led by the leftists broke the car of Ashoknagar Kalyanagarh Municipal Chairman and sent him home in Sando Genji without his clothes.
The incident took place when a TMC convoy of around 50 vehicles entered the panchayat to campaign for the upcoming panchayat elections. The leftists, who were already present in the area, started protesting against the TMC's entry. They blocked the road and pelted stones at the TMC vehicles.
