Air India partners with fashion designer Manish Malhotra for designing new uniforms

 

Mumbai, September 28, 2023: Air India has partnered with fashion designer Manish Malhotra to design new uniforms for its more than 10,000 flight crew, ground staff, and security personnel. The new uniforms are expected to be unveiled in November 2023.

This is the first time that Air India has partnered with a fashion designer to design its uniforms. In the past, the airline's uniforms were designed in-house.

Malhotra is one of the most renowned fashion designers in India. He is known for his elegant and contemporary designs. He has designed costumes for many Bollywood films and has also dressed several celebrities.

Air India has not yet released any details about the new uniforms. However, the airline has said that the uniforms will be "modern, stylish, and comfortable."

The airline is also undergoing a rebranding exercise, and the new uniforms are expected to be part of this rebranding effort.
