Indian High Commissioner to the UK Vikram Doraiswami was prevented from entering a Gurdwara in Glasgow, Scotland on September 30, 2023 by a group of Khalistan supporters. Doraiswami had been invited to the Gurdwara to attend a meeting with the Gurudwara committee.
The Khalistan supporters gathered outside the Gurdwara and protested against Doraiswami's visit. They held placards and shouted slogans demanding that Doraiswami be sent back to India. Some of the protesters also threw water bottles and eggs at Doraiswami's car.
