A 55-year-old man was allegedly murdered at the Greater Noida property where Karan Johar's film 'Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahaani' was shot. The incident occurred on Monday, November 27, during a wedding ceremony.
The victim, Ashok Yadav, was allegedly shot by his son's father-in-law, Shekhar Yadav. According to police reports, the two men had an altercation, which escalated to the point where Shekhar allegedly shot Yadav twice in the head.
Yadav was rushed to a nearby hospital, but he succumbed to his injuries on the way. Shekhar managed to escape from the scene of the crime, but he was later arrested by police.
The motive for the murder is still under investigation, but police believe that it may be related to the fact that Yadav's son and Shekhar's daughter were going through a divorce.
The incident has shocked the community and raised concerns about the safety of wedding venues. The property where the murder took place is a popular venue for weddings and other events, and it is known for its luxury amenities.
The Greater Noida Police Department has assured the public that it is taking all necessary steps to investigate the crime and bring the perpetrators to justice.
