A 6.4 magnitude earthquake struck Nepal's Lamidanda area in Jajarkot district on Friday night, November 3, 2023. Tremors were felt across Delhi-NCR, India, nearly 500 kilometers (300 miles) away from the epicenter.
The earthquake occurred at a depth of 10 kilometers and was felt in Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal, and other major cities in the country. It was also felt in parts of India, including Delhi, Noida, and Lucknow.
There are reports of damage to buildings and infrastructure in Nepal, but the extent of the damage is still being assessed. There are also reports of injuries, but no deaths have been confirmed so far.
