Lucknow: The entire state of Uttar Pradesh is in an uproar after news broke that the exam paper for the 60,000 vacancies conducted by the Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRRB) has been leaked. Over 50 lakh candidates had applied for this exam, many of whom faced intense struggles even reaching the exam center.
According to sources, the exam paper went viral on social media, prompting the board to postpone the exam. Board chairman DG Renuka Mishra stated that an SIT has been formed to investigate the paper leak and strict action will be taken against the culprits.
This incident has sparked outrage among the state's youth. They have demanded from the government that a new exam date be announced as soon as possible and the culprits be severely punished.
