Tamil Nadu's sitting Lok Sabha MP from Erode, A Ganeshamurthi of the MDMK, passed away due to cardiac arrest. Earlier, he consumed poison and was hospitalised in critical condition on March 24, eventually succumbing to his condition at a private hospital in Coimbatore. His untimely demise marked the end of his tenure as a dedicated representative of Erode in Parliament.
