In a series of election meetings held in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, CPIM Central Secretariat member Comrade Vijoo Krishnan and State Secretary Comrade D Ayyappan addressed the public, criticizing the hollow promises made by the Modi government. Krishnan highlighted that none of the assurances made by the BJP during the 2014 and 2019 parliamentary elections have been fulfilled, urging voters to reconsider their trust in the ruling party.
Echoing Krishnan's sentiments, Ayyappan condemned both the BJP and Congress for failing to address the burning issues faced by the islanders, stating that neither party has lived up to the aspirations of the people. Ayyappan assured voters that if elected, CPIM would tirelessly work towards providing the necessary relief and fulfilling the needs of the islanders.
The CPIM leaders' strong stance against the incumbent government and opposition parties sets the stage for a heated electoral battle in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, as voters weigh their options ahead of the upcoming elections.
