Leaders from the Communist Party of India (Marxist) (CPIM) today visited the home of D. Kaviya Janani, a student from the Dalit community in Peraiyur near Kumuthi, Ramanathapuram District. Kaviya Janani secured 499 out of 500 marks, emerging as a state topper in the Class X State Board Exams. Despite facing significant societal and economic challenges—her father being a contractual welder and her mother working in a grocery shop—she achieved remarkable success.
The CPIM delegation included Central Committee Member R. Karumalaiyan, Ramanathapuram District Secretary Kasinathan, Kumuthi Taluk Secretary Kannadasan, Mudukulathur Taluk Secretary Murugan, and Party District Committee Member Muthu Vijayan, along with local comrades. They congratulated Kaviya Janani for her outstanding academic achievement.
