The Bombardier Global 6000 business jet, carrying Julian Assange, has departed Bangkok en route to Saipan. This flight is part of a route that will eventually return Assange to Australia, with a scheduled stop in the Northern Mariana Islands for a hearing.
The operation has cost Australian authorities approximately $520,000. In response, Assange's wife, Stella, has launched a fundraiser to help cover the expenses incurred by the Australian government for her husband's transportation.
