In the initial stages of the 2024 Lok Sabha election results, the I.N.D.I.A alliance is showing significant gains. According to the latest tally, the alliance has secured 145 seats, marking an increase of 41 seats from their previous count.
The National Democratic Alliance (NDA) is currently leading with 224 seats but has seen a decrease of 27 seats. Other parties and independents are collectively holding 10 seats, a drop of 14 seats.
With a total of 379 out of 543 seats accounted for so far, the halfway mark of 272 seats required for a majority remains a key milestone for both major alliances. As counting progresses, these early trends indicate a competitive race with potential shifts in the political landscape of India.
