CPI(M) Tripura State Committee Donates Rs. 10 Lakhs to Kerala Chief Minister’s Distress Relief Fund

Agartala, 31 July 2024 - In a heartfelt gesture of solidarity, the Communist Party of India (Marxist), Tripura State Committee has announced a donation of Rs. 10,00,000 (Rupees Ten Lakhs) to the Kerala Chief Minister’s Distress Relief Fund. This donation aims to support the victims of recent natural calamities in the Wayanad District of Kerala, which resulted in the tragic loss of over 150 lives.

Expressing deep concern and sympathy, the Tripura State Committee conveyed its condolences to the bereaved families and the people of Kerala. The committee has also initiated a week-long fundraising campaign, urging all its units and the general public in Tripura to contribute generously.

CPI(M) Tripura has called on the people to unite in this humanitarian effort, emphasizing the need to “StandWithWayanad and Kerala” during this crisis.
