Macron Stalls Post-Election, Ignoring People's Verdict

Following the results of the early legislative elections, Emmanuel Macron has been accused of stalling and paralyzing the country. Instead of respecting the election results and calling on the coalition that won the second round, the New Popular Front, to form a government, Macron is refusing to acknowledge his defeat. His camp is reportedly trying to form a majority with the right, a move seen by many as an affront to the French electorate's clear rejection of his policies.

The New Popular Front successfully prevented the far-right from gaining an absolute majority, a scenario that once seemed inevitable. However, the coalition itself does not hold an absolute majority, which limits its ability to maneuver. Despite this, it remains the leading force in the National Assembly, representing hope for the youth and workers of France.

The ability of the New Popular Front to achieve social progress will heavily depend on popular mobilization, beyond just negotiating a left-wing government. The Young Communist Movement of France has pledged its support, launching a campaign to secure ten measures to transform the daily lives of young people.
