The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolas Maduro Moros, has officially enacted the Approval Law of the Agreement for the Promotion and Protection of Investments with the People's Republic of China. This historic agreement, previously ratified by Venezuela’s National Assembly (AN), aims to fortify economic relations between the two nations.
In a ceremony at the National Economic Council, President Maduro emphasized the strategic importance of the law. “Today, I sign the Approval Law of the Agreement between China and Venezuela regarding the promotion and protection of investments,” he stated, underscoring the agreement's role in enhancing bilateral ties.
China's ambassador to Venezuela, Lan Hu, expressed gratitude to the Venezuelan government, viewing the treaty as a pivotal mechanism for boosting reciprocal investments and trade. Hu also voiced confidence in further cooperation between the governments and public and private sectors to strengthen this economic bond.
Concluding the event, Maduro shared a vision of a peaceful, cooperative global future, stressing that humanity’s destiny should be one of shared goals and international unity.
