Colombo, February 3, 2025: The Embassy of Vietnam in Sri Lanka and the Maldives commemorated the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) with a special event in Colombo. The occasion celebrated the CPV's pivotal role in leading Vietnam's revolution and its contributions to the nation’s growth and modernization.
The gathering brought together diplomats, officials, and the Vietnamese community in Sri Lanka to honor the historical and cultural ties between the two nations. Established on February 3, 1930, the CPV has been instrumental in Vietnam's independence, unification, and development milestones.
The ceremony also highlighted the enduring friendship and bilateral relations between Vietnam and Sri Lanka, emphasizing the importance of fostering continued cooperation and mutual understanding. Leaders expressed hope for further strengthening the partnership between the two countries in the future.
