CPI(M) Organizes Peace Rally in Malda: State Secretary Mohammed Salim Leads the March
Malda: The Communist Party of India (Marxist) held a massive peace rally in Malda today, with the party's state secretary, Comrade Mohammed Salim, leading the march. The rally aimed to restore peace and harmony across Bengal, emphasizing the need for unity amidst political unrest.
At a time when political violence and provocations by the Trinamool Congress (TMC) and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) have created turmoil in the state, the CPI(M) has taken a proactive stance by reaching out to the common people. Walking through the streets of Murshidabad and Malda, the CPI(M) leaders carried a message of peace and solidarity to every corner.
In the rally, the CPI(M) strongly criticized the TMC and BJP for their divisive politics and extended support to the families of victims affected by political violence. The party also assured assistance to those who have suffered due to communal clashes instigated by political provocations.
Speaking at the rally, Comrade Salim remarked, "Our fight is not for religious dominance but for humanity. CPI(M) has always stood for peace, harmony, and justice. We are here to remind everyone that humanity is above all religions."
The rally highlighted CPI(M)’s commitment to safeguarding the interests of the people and promoting communal harmony. It also reinforced the party’s vision of a peaceful and united Bengal, standing in stark contrast to the ongoing political polarization in the state.
