Massive Multi-Camera Live Broadcast Planned for Brigade Rally 2025
Kolkata, India – April 20, 2025 – Preparations are underway for an extensive live broadcast of the Brigade Rally scheduled for April 20, 2025, at 3:00 PM IST at the Brigade Parade Ground.
A sophisticated multi-camera setup, featuring eight cameras strategically positioned for diverse angles, will provide comprehensive live coverage. This includes a 46-foot Jimmy Jib crane with trolley and a drone to capture dynamic aerial footage. A dedicated 25-member PCR (Production Control Room) team will operate the broadcast from a centralized location.
The social media outreach will be a collaborative effort involving representatives and members from the central social media teams of CPI(M) West Bengal, CITU, AIKS, AIAWU (Dundubhi), PBUS (Bastibarta), Ganashakti Digital, the Party state Website, SFI, DYFI, AIDWA, and Marxbadipath Digital, among other mass organizations. This coordinated effort on the ground is expected to generate a substantial volume of images and video clips for real-time dissemination.
The rally will be streamed live on multiple prominent platforms, including the Facebook pages of CPIM West Bengal, CITU West Bengal, AIKS West Bengal, Dundubhi (AIAWU West Bengal), Bastibarta (PBUS), and the CPIM West Bengal YouTube channel, with additional pages and channels expected to carry the broadcast.
The live broadcast schedule is as follows:
- First Live Stream: 1:00 PM IST - Featuring cultural programs and musical performances leading up to the main event.
- Second Live Stream: 3:00 PM IST - Covering the entirety of the Brigade Rally proceedings.
Party district pages, district-level pages of mass organizations, and other left-leaning social media pages are urged to promptly share the live stream links. Additionally, the links should be forwarded across all district-level WhatsApp groups to maximize reach.
While the live stream links will be shared in relevant groups upon commencement, all comrades are requested to monitor the aforementioned pages at the designated times for immediate access.
Notably, a raw feed of the event will be simultaneously provided via a dedicated jack to multiple mainstream electronic media outlets (15) and mainstream news portals (7). This will ensure that the visuals available on social media will largely be mirrored in mainstream media coverage.
