Tribute to Dr. B.R. Ambedkar on His 135th Birth Anniversary Held in Patna
Patna, April 14, 2025: On the occasion of the 135th birth anniversary of Baba Saheb Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar, a tribute and condolence meeting was organized at the CPI(M) Bihar State Office in Patna. The event saw participation from prominent leaders and members of the CPI(M), reflecting on Ambedkar's enduring legacy and his contributions to social justice, democracy, and the Constitution of India.
The program was addressed by CPI(M) Central Committee members Comrade Awadhesh Kumar and Comrade A.R. Sindhu, along with State Secretariat Member Comrade Ahmed Ali, former Central Committee Member and senior leader Comrade Arun Mishra, and state leaders Ashok Mishra and Ganesh Singh.
In his address, Comrade Awadhesh Kumar emphasized the importance of intensifying struggles to protect the Constitution, secularism, democracy, and to achieve social and economic justice. He highlighted that these principles form the cornerstone of Ambedkar’s vision for India.
Comrade A.R. Sindhu called for the popularization and implementation of Dr. Ambedkar's three slogans—"Get Educated, Organize, Struggle"—especially among marginalized communities. She underlined that true homage to Ambedkar lies in ensuring that his ideas are embraced and realized in the fight against social inequality and oppression.
The gathering served as a reminder of Dr. Ambedkar's timeless message and the continued relevance of his ideals in today’s socio-political context. Leaders and attendees pledged to uphold his vision by working towards a more inclusive and equitable society.
